The breakfast

“Breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dine like a poor man”. I am a fan of this adage, which represents exactly the food balance that I have adopted daily since the beginning of my new “healthy” life! Breakfast is essential, it must provide a quarter of the energy intake of the day, and avoids cravings, hypoglycemia attacks, feelings of fatigue, concentration problems. Out of the question to eat industrial cookies on the corner of his office when arriving at work or worse: to skip this meal !! Ideally, breakfast should consist of a fruit, a cereal product, a dairy or a source of protein. Here are some breakfast ideas that I particularly enjoy. There is something for every taste ! The “classic” breakfast A bowl of muesli with almond milk (oatmeal, flax seeds, chocolate chips), a banana to be well set and a tea. Right now, I’m using Teatox’s Organic SkinnyDetox that uses the power of natural ingredients (goji berries, green tea), rich in cleansing herbs and detoxifying properties. (There is also a tea to consume at night). It is slightly perfumed, very pleasant to drink and makes you feel “cleansed” at the first meal of the day. The sports breakfast: A bagel with almond puree, rich in minerals and antioxidant and a banana (rich in vitamin A, B, C, E and mineral salts). It is an excellent source of energy if you have a workout at the beginning of the day or just a busy morning! The salty breakfast, convenient to take away: Bagel spread with hummus, with turkey ham (2 slices). I sometimes replace the bagel with rye bread, which is extremely satisfying. Ready in 3 minutes, you have no more excuses for not having breakfast. You can even take it to go. I always accompany it with a fruit. The protein breakfast: Egg muffins, accompanied by a fruit. The recipe is very simple: two beaten eggs, a tablespoon of soy sauce cooking, slices of turkey ham, diced tomatoes, salt, pepper. Beat it all in omelette and cook for 20 minutes at 180 degrees in muffin cups! The weekend breakfast. When I have time in front of me, on the weekends, I enjoy starting the day with pancakes! They are rich in protein (thanks to egg whites) and greedy! You will find the recipe here ! I hope these photos will have inspired you and motivated you to have a good breakfast!
